Troubleshoot in a useful order

Identify where the request stopped before changing everything.

A failed result can begin with the source photo, device access, the connection, a temporary service condition, or purchase state. Testing one layer at a time makes the cause easier to isolate and gives support more useful information if the issue continues.

01 · Input

Confirm the photo passes the basic checklist

Use a sharp homework photo with the full question, diagrams, and instructions visible. Remove glare, avoid cropping key text, and choose soft neutral light.

If the app rejects one image, capture a new worksheet photo rather than repeatedly cropping or editing the same unsuitable source.

02 · Connection

Check whether the request can reach the service

Confirm that the device has a stable internet connection. If the request remains pending, switch once between Wi-Fi and mobile data when available, then reopen Lirno.

Avoid sending the same request repeatedly in quick succession. A temporary service or usage limit may need time before another attempt.

03 · Device access

Check camera or photo-library access

Open iOS Settings, find Lirno, and confirm the app can access the camera or selected photos needed for the flow you are using.

Tutor messages do not use camera access. They still require a stable connection and available AI usage.

04 · Account

Verify purchase and account context

For Premium access, use the same Apple Account that completed the purchase and try Restore Purchases from the app’s Premium management area.

If an account-specific issue continues, note the sign-in method you used without sending a password, verification code, or payment credential.

Before another attempt

Change one condition, then test once.

A single controlled retry is more informative than changing the photo, connection, permission, and account at the same time. Record which change you made and whether the message or behavior changed.

Homework photos & AI tutoring

  1. Use a clear worksheet photo in neutral light.
  2. Keep the full question visible and reduce glare.
  3. Confirm you have an active internet connection.
  4. Check iOS Camera or Photos access if the picker or camera is blocked.
  5. Close and reopen the app, then retry once.

Purchases & Premium

Apple processes Lirno payments. Current prices, billing periods, trials, and eligibility are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

  1. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
  2. Open Lirno → Settings → Manage Premium.
  3. Choose Restore Purchases.
  4. Manage or cancel through Apple's device subscription settings.

Saved study content & account

Lirno keeps generated explanations, study sets, and Tutor history locally on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise. Deleting the app or its local data can remove that content.

Optional Apple, Google, or email sign-in is available for account features. Account deletion is available in the account settings.

Privacy requests

Use the Rocket Digital contact form for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or another privacy request. Include “Lirno” and the email associated with your account, if applicable.

Good to know

Common support questions

The app says my photo is not suitable. What should I do?

Take a new homework photo with the full question visible, even light, and sharp focus. Avoid glare, cropped equations, and strong filters.

Why did my scan or tutor request fail?

Check your internet connection, confirm iOS still allows the camera or photo access you are using, and try once with a clear image. Temporary service limits or availability can also affect a scan or tutor request.

How do I restore a subscription?

Open Lirno, go to Settings or Premium management, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original App Store purchase.

How do I delete my account?

In Lirno, open Settings, choose your account, and select Delete account. If you cannot access the app, use Rocket Digital’s contact form and identify Lirno in your request.

How do I control camera and photo access?

Open iOS Settings, find Lirno, and change Camera or Photos access. Lirno sends a tutor message or selected homework input only when you actively submit an AI request.

Before opening the contact form

Send useful context—not sensitive data.

A concise support request should explain the environment, the exact step that failed, and what you already tried. Keep passwords, payment details, private homework, and unnecessary personal data out of the first message.

Device context

Identify the app and operating environment

Include Lirno as the app name, your iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, and the Lirno version shown in the app or App Store.

State whether you were using Wi-Fi or mobile data and whether the issue occurs every time or only with one feature.

  • Device model and iOS version
  • Lirno App Version
  • Feature and connection type
Reproduction

Describe the last successful step and exact failure

List the actions in order and quote the visible error message when possible. Add the approximate date, time, and time zone if the issue may relate to service availability.

Explain whether restarting the app, using a clearer photo, or checking Camera or Photos access in iOS Settings changed the result.

Privacy and billing

Keep sensitive material out of the first message

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, complete receipts, full card or bank information, or account credentials. Apple handles App Store billing and subscription management.

For a privacy request, identify Lirno and the email associated with the account when applicable. Wait for support instructions before attaching personal images.

Useful first message

Short, specific, and safe is better.

A strong request names the feature, device, App Version, exact behavior, and troubleshooting already completed. Support can then ask for the minimum additional information needed.
